The church is the very last building on the Rue du Pont Colbert and access by car is ONLY from the slip road exit off the N12, direction VERSAILLES CENTRE.
As soon as you take the slip road to exit the N12 going into Versailles (direction Versailles Centre) look for the gap in the security wall on your right. This gives access to a residential side alley and the church premises. The church and our car-park are sign-posted.St Mark’s is the very first building you come to as you enter Versailles from this side.
COMING FROM VERSAILLES TOWN: take the Rue du Pont Colbert, go to the very end of the road towards the N12 / A86 motorway interchange. Go past the petrol station on the right hand side and go all the way round the interchange, past the exit for Jouy en Josas, past the exit for Porchefontaine, follow signs for Versailles Centre. (Yes, it may feel like you will end up on the motorway – you won’t if you follow the directions !). Join the slip road back into Versailles, slow down, keeping right and immediately take the side alley which leads to the church.
COMING FROM THE A86 FROM VELIZY, take exit Versailles Centre. As you come on to the slip-road going into Versailles, keep right and immediately take the side alley leading to the church.
COMING FROM THE N12, SAINT-CYR L’ECOLE, take exit Jouy-en-Josas / Porchefontaine.Go all the way round the interchange, past the exit for Jouy en Josas, past the exit for Porchefontaine, follow signs for VERSAILLES CENTRE. (it looks like this takes you back on to the motorway – it doesn’t, just follow the full directions). Join the slip road back into Versailles, slow down, keeping right and immediately take the side alley which leads to the church.
The next time you visit it is much easier to find.
